30 January 2012 by Luxury Travel Team

Cunard World Cruise Cunard ships embark every January for approximately three months. While at sea, the ship circumnavigates various parts of the globe. With the advantage of the extended time at sea, your stay often allows for two or more full days to explore. Cunard is one of the oldest names in the industry yet they have the youngest fleet at sea. Through a thoughtful combination of tradition and innovation, Cunard is able to create a unique worldly experience for every traveler, including you.

In January 2013 Queen Victoria and flagship Queen Mary 2 will set sail from Southampton, England on "epic voyages around the globe with the ships together visiting 55 unique ports of call in 28 countries." The itineraries offer overnights stays in Sydney, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai on Queen Victoria; and overnight stays in Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai and a two-night overnight in Cape Town on Queen Mary 2.

Queen Victoria makers her return to the World Voyage in 2013 featuring departures from New York, Ft. Lauderdale and San Francisco. Her 105-day voyage includes 34 ports in 23 countries, across three oceans, both tropics and the equator. During the journey, the Queen Victoria will visit nine ports for the very first time: Falmouth in Jamaica, Bay of Islands in New Zealand, Brisbane, the Whitsundays, Darwin, Bali, Manila, Colombo, Sri Lanka and Sokhna, Egypt.

"Now a seasoned World Voyage liner, Queen Mary 2 will begin her sixth World Voyage in Southampton, and head east, across four continents and 34 ports in 18 countries. Her 106-day voyage will include six maiden calls to Abu Dhabi, UAE; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Langkawi, Malaysia; Ko Samui, Thailand; Christchurch, New Zealand and Port Elizabeth, South Africa."

Booking a Full World Voyage has its benefits. Early booking discounts, complimentary hotel and dining charges, Gala World Voyage Dinner, cocktail parties, reception and Senior Officer Dinner and special commemorative gifts.

"We are proud to continue the 90-year legacy of our signature world voyages," said Peter Shanks, president of Cunard Line. "To sail the world's oceans and touch all corners of the globe is an incomparable experience, one that is even more heightened by the elegant style, attentive White Star service and world-class experience aboard a famous Cunard liner."

Cunard Cruise Cunard offers a large selection of voyages. Short Getaways offer a city dweller the chance to escape to another place on a whim while their World Cruise options allow for a longer, multi-destination experience. With Cunard, you'll find the luxury vacation you've always wanted, whether it's three months or three days.

Fly-Cruises take the worry and stress out of your travel experience from the very beginning. After flying to your embarkation port, you will be transferred to join your ship. Check your luggage at the airport, and it will be waiting in your stateroom upon boarding because Cunard's famous White Star Service handles the details. When you opt to fly to the port, it's easy to maximize time at your destination. Fly-Cruises are offered to the Mediterranean, North America, the Caribbean, Mexico and even Hawaii.

World Cruises offer a legendary experience at sea. Cunard ships embark every January for approximately three months. While at sea, the ship circumnavigates the globe, starting in either Southampton or New York. With the advantage of the extended time at sea, your stay at each port of call, which span four continents, allows for two and on occasion three full days to explore. The exceptional dining on board changes often; you'll notice the menu options reflect the ships current region.

Cunard's flagship, the Queen Mary 2, sets sail on the only regular transatlantic cruise schedule. From April to November, she travels regularly between Southampton and New York every year. You will experience the unique opportunity and amazing views as you sail into or out of New York. Your flight in the other direction is included in your fare. Experience all that London has to offer – the Tower of London, the Globe Theatre, the Crown Jewels, Big Ben and more while you spend a few days exploring the city.

On occasion, it's just not possible to schedule the vacation you really want, why not escape for a few short days? Cunard offers something unique in its Short Getaways. These cruises are the perfect option to celebrate something special or to take a long relaxing weekend away. The voyages range from two to five nights and are ideal for a cruise-beginner.

Cunard is one of the oldest names in the industry yet they have the youngest fleet at sea. Through a thoughtful combination of tradition and innovation, Cunard is able to create a unique experience for every traveler, including you.
